This water management system is known as Water Treatment . There are several stages of water management that must be done so that the water can be said to be feasible to use. However, not all these phases are applied by each water manager, depending on the quality of the water source.
For example, if the water source comes from groundwater, the water management system will be simpler than the source of the water comes from surface water sources, such as a river, lake or sea water. Since the water from the ground has been naturally filtered by the soil structure itself and is not directly connected to the free air containing many water pollutants.

1.Initial Storage Unit (Intake)
This unit is known by the term Tapping Water (Intake). This unit serves as a reservoir of water from its source. In addition, this unit is equipped with Screen Bar which serves as an initial filter of objects that are inundated in water such as leaf garbage, wood and other objects.
2.Processing Unit (Water Treatment)
In this unit, water from the initial storage unit is processed through several stages:
- Coagulation
- Flocculation
- Sedimentation
- Filtration
- Ion Exchange
- Absorption
- Disinfection
3.Final Container Unit (Reservoir)
After entering this stage, the water is ready to be distributed to the community.
